Bringing delicious restaurant venues to the Gibson Mill Market has become one of our team’s favorite types of projects at Liles Construction. Not only because we get to sample more culinary wonders when it’s all said and done, but we also love watching our community grow. Our team helped bring the new restaurant Mi Isla Island Cuisine to the Market.
Restaurant Owner, Dennis Rhea, previously operated Bad Mother Smokers which catered competition style BBQ. Mi Isla will offer Caribbean food that takes restaurant goers on a culinary journey to the islands. Just one of many unique restaurants now featured at the bustling Gibson Mill. For this project, the design had fun recreating the idea of a Caribbean “food shack” with this space by installing a wood-framed “pergola” type canopy over the front counter, dark blue tones, scalloped shell wall tile and concrete lime-washed wall paint.
Our team at Liles was thrilled to have been part of this exciting project at the bustling Gibson Mill Market. For more information about ongoing projects, check out Liles’ featured active projects page.
