MAS Tortilleria

Liles spearheaded construction of MAS, a unique tortilleria and agave bar in Charlotte.

MAS stands for Maiz Agua Sal, or corn, water, and salt (the three main ingredients in a tortilla). Speaking of tortillas, MAS highlights the magic of tortilla making by housing its giant tortilla making machine right in the middle of the restaurant. Imported from Mexico along with heirloom masa used to make the tortillas, the machine is the size of an SUV and serves as the focal point of the space while providing an authentic experience for diners.

The exterior features an extensive covered patio with views of the Uptown skyline.
