The Liles Construction team was thrilled to work on the two-part build for the Cabarrus County Emergency Equipment Warehouse and ITS Facility. This project totals almost 30,000 square feet of site work. It includes an 18,000 square feet pre-engineered metal building for the Emergency Equipment Warehouse, as well as an additional 12,100 square foot office space for the county’s IT Department.
Highlights of the project include mass grading, site utilities, concrete footings for both buildings, slab on grade for pre engineered metal building, masonry fire wall between both buildings, and steel erection for metal building has begun.
The design team for these projects include Morris Berg Architects. The civil engineer group is The Timmons Group. Additionally, Shultz Engineering is the consultant for PME and fire protection, and Ritchie Engineering for structural.
