Projects that honor our emergency response personnel mean a lot to our team. So when our friends at the Mount Pleasant Fire Department needed a new home for their men and women in uniform, Liles Construction responded to the call.
Organized in 1937, the Mount Pleasant Fire Department has served their community for almost a century. This is their second location, and as the Mount Pleasant community continues to grow, so do the needs of their current facility.
This new firehouse allows for expansion of their existing firehouse and includes a full kitchen, additional officer offices, living quarters, showers, a fitness room, as well as dedicated EMS, fire fighter, and general storage areas.
One interesting design feature includes a full glass display of their antique fire truck. This pays homage to the incredible history of this great team.
Kudos to the Liles’ incredible Superintendent Johnny Dulin for helping to bring this updated firehouse to life for the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.
